Oh my dear sweet mother of GOD! (Jumps from his chair, staggers across the room, clutches his chest, trips over the cat and falls face first in the floor with a THUD!). Happy Halloween!
You were right, dresses don’t come much shorter than that. Thats a Halloween treat for everyone, the trick would be going a whole night not having to bend down Love them shoes. More pics please, pretty please
So this link implies that everyone who finds my costume sexy is (to some degree) a pedophile?? Because it’s “disturbing”? haha what a bunch of BS. Whoever wrote that should maybe focus on the 11 and 12 year old underdeveloped trick or treaters prancing around in inappropriate costumes for their ages. THAT’S disturbing.
Well said!!! What’s sad is that lots of 13 yr old girls don’t need it to be Halloween to dress up like adults. I work around kids that age, and hear stories that make you wonder where they’ll end up 10 yrs from now….
If you read through the link, it talks about the fact that grown women are infantalized as young children and young children are sexualized as grown women being two sides to the same coin. They are both part of the sociological construct of women as the sex class. You can’t show concern over the sexualization of female childhood without confronting the infantalization of women and how viewing women as children is comparable to viewing children as women.
I understand what you’re getting at. I still think it poses more of an issue though, personally. The way I see it, women have already experienced childhood (obviously), but these children are trying to be adult women which isn’t something they should be rushing into…
I’m technically classified as an adult woman, but I definitely embrace my inner child a lot of the time.. whether that means dressing up like Alice for Halloween, shopping at the same stores as 15 year olds because I still like the styles (hey, I should be able to get away with it for a few more years yet! ), or whatever.
And I’m not gonna lie… I’m usually pretty shocked and mildly confused whenever I get called “ma’am”.. it takes me a minute to realize they’re referring to me!
You’re dressed as a sexualized version of a child. It’s explicitly sexualized; I’m going to guess that costume was labeled as “Sexy Alice in Wonderland” or some variation thereon. You’re not really dressed as Alice in Wonderland, you’re dressed as a sexualized version of a young girl. The entire costume makes no sense except in a culture that regards young girls, and in fact all women, as sex objects.
……… Are we even living in the same culture here Jon!? I am a sex object. It’s kind of my job.
And I did read the entire link the first time I clicked it. Some valid points were made, but for the most part I thought many of the comments were pretty dumb. To each their own.
And furthermore, my costume makes no sense because it’s a sexualized version of something not originally intended to be sexy?? hmm.. I think you just described 95% of costumes women wear with that statement.. http://www.yandy.com/Sexy-Cat.php I think this is hot, do you find that disturbing? No.. because it doesn’t mean I secretly want to go home and fuck my cat.
IMO, there’s a legit point made by some in the comments regarding the excessive percentage of women’s costumes that are sexualized. There’s a message being sent that females who participate in Halloween dress up need to do so in a sexual way. When it’s Andi or Ariel or some other young (but legal) hottie dressing this way, it’s great! Everybody wins!
But when teenage girls—or preteen girls—see the ubiquity of sexy women’s outfits and almost all commercial alternatives labeled as men’s outfits, this leads almost inevitably to the proliferation of girls who are too young wearing adult themed costumes because that is all that is on the shelf for their gender. As a solution to this problem, it couldn’t hurt to take gender out of the labeling for more Halloween outfits; make more of them unisex and in a range of sizes, and only label certain outfits as men’s or women’s as is necessary for the character.
As for the first part, that was part of the point of the link. Women are reduced to sex objects in our culture. Women are presented as only having worth in the context of their sexual attractiveness as well as their sexual availability.
……… Are we even living in the same culture here Jon!? I am a sex object. It’s kind of my job.
And I did read the entire link the first time I clicked it. Some valid points were made, but for the most part I thought many of the comments were pretty dumb. To each their own.
For the first part, I think you have a little Vizini problem; I don’t think it means what you think it means. To call yourself a sexual object is to divest yourself of all subjectivity, to remove your person-hood. Yes, you are a sex worker. You perform sex acts for money. That doesn’t mean you aren’t a person. It doesn’t mean you don’t get to decide when you are sexual and when you are not. It also doesn’t mean your sexuality isn’t yours to control as you will. You are not an object; you are a person.
In order for women dressed as little girls to be sexy, little girls need to be sexy. In order for little girls dressed as women to be sexy, little girls need to be sexy. That is the cultural context of those costumes. The only if you completely decontextualize the costumes can they mean anything else. And you can’t decontextualize the costumes. Without a context they aren’t costumes; they’re just clothes.
“I also find it disturbing that many of the “sexy” costumes are highly sexualized versions of characters who are supposed to be little girls–Alice (in Wonderland), Dorothy, Goldilocks, Red Riding Hood, and other popular or fairy tale characters.”
It specifically mentions Andi’s costume. How is that not relevant? Did you actually even read the link?
Jon, this is one of the places where the logic in that link fails. Grown women in sexy but girlish outfits does not equal sexualizing little girls. I know it doesn’t in my book. It equals sexualizing grown women. Grown women like Andi who want to be sexualized.
There’s a difference—however subtle—between youthfulness (as seen in young women and equated with sexiness) and outright youth (as it exists in little girls).
A grown woman who provacatively role plays as a girl—but is obviously not a little girl—exhibits youthfulness, but not the actual youth of girlhood. As people have expressed already in this thread, there’s a huge diff between a sexy grown (but still young) woman like Andi wearing a sexualized Dorothy or Alice outfit and a young teen or preteen girl wearing the same. The former is sexy; the latter is rightfully disturbing. Your link fails to give people credit for knowing the difference. I think most people do.
Yes Jon, I skimmed through that link, I can read, and like most others I dismissed it as a pathetic attempt by a sad crank seeing something that isnt there, that the author is suggesting there is a subliminal message to those outfits. All her examples are fictitional characters for fucks sake… fictitional. Im quite sure Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks wont be demanding an apology and royalty for outfits ‘based’ on their character. Its called fantasy, embrace it.
Andis outfit was short and it was sexy, and to make it fit into a theme for a fun night they added some playing card symbols! Scandalous huh? I cant imagine many visitors to this page were thinking too much about Alices Adventures in Wonderland when they were viewing what Andi had on.
If you want to compare the two then do so, but the page to share those thoughts was prepared for you, that link, not Andis page.
Jonny, if YOU cant differentiate adult womens from little girls, I would say YOU have a little problem. You dont need to tell us that seeing kids as sex objects is a bad thing. We know that. That why we are on Andis blog instead of some pedo blog. For mental heathy people (what I think the most readers of Andis blog are) will a 23yo Andi always be a 23yo Andi. Even is she wears diapers. Do you understand that? I hope so!
Instead of trying to make us believe we are pedophiles, you maybe shoud think about your own latent pedophilia.
I’ll say this again because no one seems to address the simple point I’m making. A grown woman dressed as a child can only be seen as sexy if children are seen as sexy. The infantalization of women and the sexualization of girls are two sides to the same coin. They are the product of a society that views women as sex objects; a society that views women as nothing but a thing to be used for the sexual gratification of men. You cannot decontextualize one from the other, and certainly not while being a product of this culture.
Jon, do you have issues or what? Ever thought Batman and Robin were having a incestuous relationship ? Kit and Knightrider a bit too close ? And Perdy out of 101 Dalmations, what a tramp she was ? When my 7-year old kid walks around in her mum’s shoes I view it as cute, you’d view it as a pre-pubescent would-be slut in the making. Get your mind out of the garbage please, let youngsters enjoy their innocence and adults behave responsibly, generally it works.
WOW! I have a friend who wore that costume a couple of years ago…however, she never gave me the view that you did in pic #6. God blessed you REAL good! Hope you had fun tonite!
everyone wants to, i know i do but to be honest *blushes* i don’t think i could last that long lol andi is way too sexy and me being teased i hate, if was going to fuck andi *not even in my dreams lol* i would well i can’t even imagine how great that would feel her and ariel *drools* too sexy
HOLY FUCKING SHIT WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh My God!!! Andi you are as beautiful as ever I really love your outfit in this pictorial. It’s so innocent and yet so naughty!!! You are by far the sexiest woman on the internet hands down.

Blah Blah Blah.. you just don’t get it. The rest of us do. End of story.
Argumentum ad Populum is a logical fallacy, not an argument.
An abdication of argument is not a victory.
That link does not have any relevance to this page. Andis outfit is sexy, nothing more, nothing less. Full stop.
From the link:
