Took this candid this morning while getting ready for the day.. really makes me notice how much my hair has faded!! Time to make an appointment with Joel in Montreal ASAP!

In other news, many people who use TD, BMO, or Credit Union banks are becoming victims of a card copying scam… usually losing amounts between $200-$400, being withdrawn in Quebec. 
I lost $306, my bank says they are going to reumburse everyone who was scammed, it’s just a matter of when… I filled out some forms and am now playing the waiting game to see what happens. It’s not the end of the world for me at all, I’m doing okay.. it could always be worse! This has got to be just awful for so many families who were barely getting by and having trouble making ends meet to begin with, who now have to worry about being able to put food on the table for their kids. These scammers are building up some very bad karma!! 
(of course, they are probably too busy shopping to care! Jerks.)
This may just be a local issue, but just in case.. I suggest that people using the banks mentioned above check the status of their accounts and make sure there is no recent suspicious activity taking place.. it couldn’t hurt!!

hope you get your money back i had someone scam my credit card for 3 thousand pounds but luckily they got caught and they had 100 cloned cards on them, now i dont carry any cards and do everything online, sending huge hugs, ben xxx

That sucks. It must not just be aweful for families but for everyone who needs the money. And its also the time before christmas. Who knows when the bank will reimburse the money. Think about how sad the kids will be if the parents have no money because the scam for any gifts…
I dont understand how someone can steal money even from people or families who really needs the money…

I don’t deal with credit cards anymore. It’s just too much temptation and too many opportunities for fraud. I don’t even really trust banks anymore because you never know when creditors or scammers will hack into your account. I hope you get your money back soon Andi! And I hope you can provide a way to pay by check or money order when you open your new website. Love the bra, by the way, and the enchanting smile!
hey andi funny you should mention the TD thing. I went there today because I lost about 800 dollars and the bank where I live pretty much told me I was SOL but I hope your outcome it better then mine.

They dont discriminate who they steal cards from, rich or poor. Its horrid when someone has done their weeks shopping, got it all packed then come to pay for it, knowing they have just enough in their account, then the card gets rejected. They dont have options and other cards to use.
Andi, this is a modern system which crime is a product of the current politico-economic system and is important in how you got your bank account.
In this modern crime is now specialize individuals but even whole groups of people who live very well.

Hey Andi, thanks for the heads up on the card scam, but sorry you lost some money. Was this a debit or credit card scam? I enjoy the convenience of using a credit card, and I pay off the balance every month so as not to be charged interest, but I keep good track of my account. Do you have any idea where you were scammed? In my area, a restaurant went out of business when their credit card records were hacked and caused their customers to suffer losses. Here’s hoping you get your money back soon. BTW, you’re looking great in this photo.
It was a debit scam. I don’t use credit cards.

You will get your money back, Andi – the same thing happened to me a few years back (I’d have thought they would have made them clone proof by now!)
Just make sure, when they ask you where you wrote your pid down, that you say, “I didn’t, it’s in my head.” Seriously, they will try to trap you that way (the banks I mean!)

Thanks! It’s actually very dark brown. It faded out to this colour because I used to have blonde in it before I went dark in the summer..

yeah I almost got scammed a few months ago with my bank also, but luckily my bank caught it and put a hold on my card…which sucked when I went to go pay for groceries…but when I found out why, I was ok
