And I was just beginning to think I’d seen it all… this WAND is actually a universal remote!! No.. I’m not kidding. It’s called “Kymera Magic Wand”, and it can apparently learn up to 13 functions for any remote-controlled device. To adjust volume on your tv, you twist/turn the wand clockwise or counter-clockwise. Flicking it upwards or downwards is supposed to change channels… it’s battery powered and retails at about $84. I might want one of these for myself if it had a star on the end, like the wand of the Good Witch in the Wizard of Oz
… Until they come out with a model like that, I’ll pass… still pretty neat though!!
XoXo Andi

I need to get one for my brother for christmas – then out with the video camera – bet the person using it looks a bit odd :p
I would love to watch a couch potato swishing that thing around like a little wizard! LOL..
I know where Id suggest he sticks his magic wand
Some things just dont need inventing, like the two sandwich toasters hidden at the back of my cupboard, or the breakmaker my mum bought me for Christmas that has to be brought out ever time she comes round.
Haha! I have 2 sandwich toasters too.. never been used
Both were Christmas gifts.. from the same relatives… who apparently forgot and bought me the same thing 2yrs in a row.

Dammit, now I need to save up $84. This is just too awesome to pass up.
Hmmm… So if you stick it in your cooter, does it put on the Lifetime channel?
In other news, legions of Harry Potter fans around the world are $84 poorer.
Seriously, for 84 bucks that thing had better be able to conjure up a pot of gold.

I’d be afraid to poke my eyes out with something like that!!!
I like gadgets, but I think this is a little overboard. I have one remote that came with my FiOS installation that operates both the TV and the DVD player. It works fine and is all I really need.
OK, that looks like it could be really annoying after some time…

But the idea is cool.
