Absolute bullshit; utter nonsense; often something rather suspicious that can bring forth uneasy, angry, or irritated feelings. The stunt pulled by people who don’t know how to tell the truth, think before they speak, or simply enjoy messing with people’s heads as a hobby.

Recent and over-publicized example of fuckery: Kanye West’s antics at the VMA awards.
For those who didn’t watch the VMA’s and haven’t heard yet, here’s a quick summary of what happened…
Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video, but was rudely interrupted by Kanye West during her acceptance speech. 
He grabbed the mic from her, and while he quickly congratulated her and promised to let her finish her speech, he then went on to declare that Beyonce’s video was “one of the best of all time”. He repeated this twice before handing Taylor the mic back, making it clear that he felt she didn’t deserve to win. Understandably, Taylor Swift was pretty shaken and stunned by what happened and was unable to finish her speech. Instead she just stood on stage for a few awkward moments which must have felt like an eternity for her. Not cool, Kanye!
By the way, Beyonce ended up winning the award for Video of the Year later on in the show, so Kanye sure jumped the gun by barging on stage and ruining Taylor’s special moment. Apparently he has apologized for his behavior, and Taylor Swift has decided to “be the bigger man” and accept his apology. If I were in her position, I’m not sure I’d be so quick to forgive him!

Didnt watch the VMAs, as I quit watching MTV when they moved from Music to Reality based programing, but I have read alot of opinions and rants regarding Kanye’s actions.
And the one that struck me as being the most thought provoking, was one that said something along the following: “If a white male artist had done that to a black female artist, not only would he be as hated as Kanye is, he would be labelled as a racist.”
I believe that if the above had happened, we’d all be hearing preciely that. So what Id like to know is, why isnt that happening here?

The issue of racism is being brought into this incident.. many people saying something similar to what you just said and also accusing Kanye of “hating whites and Latinos” (not sure where/how the Latinos fit in.. but it’s circulating around that Kanye isn’t a fan) Other people are using Kanye’s “jackass” behavior to lash out at him for being black and using a bunch of racial slurs towards him… in my opinion, this is all bullshit. If people want to be pissed off at Kanye for his actions, fine, but there’s no need to bring ethnicity into it.. I think they should focus on attacking his character, not skin colour.. even if he is a racist as so many people claim. Since when do 2 wrongs make a right?? The USA might have a black president, but the way people are reacting to this incident proves that as a society, we still have a lonnnnng way to go and a lot of ignorant people to educate. Kind of sad, really.

Agreed, Andi. He MAY be a racist, I don’t know but I sure as hell don’t care either way. What he did had nothing to do with the fact that Taylor Swift is a white girl. It just has everything to do with the fact that he’s a dickhead.
He clearly has no tact. I saw even in his apology, he said again that Beyonce’s video was the best. I mean, that’s not an apology, you ass Kanye! That’s a backhanded, back-pedalling way of trying to get out of it.
I also agree that I wouldn’t have been so quick to forgive the man. The poor girl’s only 17 and she clearly was stung by what he did. Let him stew on it for a while haha
So, if Beyonce was white, would Kanye West be bouncing up on stage, mouthing off and supporting her? If Taylor Swift had done the Single Girls’s video would he have been prepared to do the same thing and champion her, and say it was ‘one of the greatest videos of all time’? No. Beyonce’s video is basically a mimed dance routine, similar to many, many others, ‘uniquely’ filmed in black and white. Ground breaking stuff (not), maybe good enough for video of the month.

As far as music videos go, I honestly NEVER watch them. One of those old-fashioned people who think music should be heard instead of seen, lol.. so I’m really in no position to weigh in on which vid was better.
I’d missed GraeGors earlier similar comments because I was watching the two videos on youtube as I was typing. I think racist can be used, but probably friendist is a nicer conclusion. I don’t watch videos either and I hadn’t heard Taylor Swift’s song before. If I was on a panel marking them, with no regard to the type of music, who the artist was etc, I’d give Beyonce’s 4 out of ten as all she did was dance, Taylor 8 out of ten, nice story. But then I’d question how Taylor could win female video of the year, yet be beaten by (female) Beyonce for video of the year. Hermaphrodite?
As far as music is concerned I only appreciate those that can play live. I saw Taylor Swift do two songs earlier this year live and was impressed. I also saw N-Dubs play a festival last month with the female lead singer missing and her vocals were played as a backing track while the other two rapped. That makes them entertainers or performers rather than musicians in my book, along with the miming Britney and similar.
This is what bothers me with today’s entertainment industry, it doesn’t matter whether the video is even good or not. It’s Beyonce dancing around on stage, “singing,” of course it’s going to win an award. Meanwhile, the amazing, emotional, or inventive videos get thrown to the wayside.
Having not seen the video myself, I can only go by your word as to its content. But apparently making the video black and white is enough innovation for it to be considered “great”, while songs like Little Motel by Modest Mouse get no attention, despite being an amazing (if extremely depressing) video.
This is why I try to support the smaller names in entertainment (So long as it’s actually worth the money), because people just flock to the biggest, most well known name, and ignore the people who actually write their own songs.
I have not watched MTV since the glory days of the 80’s when they just played MUSIC VIDEOS & not the SHIT they run today. So now to get my 80’s music fix I listen to the original MTV VJ’s on XM Radio.

I agree with GraeGor & TheMachojedi…I too haven’t watched MuchMusic in years….I’m shocked when I flip through the channels (with my fancy wand??) and actually see a video since everything is reality crap….Dance Crew?? WTF is that?? I did see a Taylor Swift video at the gym once…someone had it on the country channel, and it seemed cute, not sure what it sounded like though…I rather watch YouTube now!!
The proper solution to this dipshit is to ignore him. It’s the worst possible thing for a “public” figure to be ignored. He should be blacklisted from any and all media attention for a period of time. See how well he’s liked after being ignored for 6 months – 5 years. This would be much worse than sending him to prison!
Funny story..so on the radio today, a Kanye song started playing… after a few seconds into it, the DJ came on air and said “Just kidding!” and then proceeded to play a Taylor Swift song. I found it hilarious!

It honestly just shows that the size of his ego has gotten so large that he no longer cares about someone else’s happy moment if it means that he can get even 10 seconds of the spotlight taken away from them and placed onto whatever blather and drivel that he wants to say. This man should honestly be banned from reproducing and having any offspring. But I’m sure that his mother is quite proud of him for what he did.
Actually his mom passed away earlier this year (or last..not sure) due to complications after a plastic surgery procedure. Don’t remember the details. Just saying.
